About   

Last Order is a 30 minute OAV, or original animated video. It was orginally only available with the order of the Limited Advent: Pieces boxset, however, it was included as a bonus feature to the American dvd release of Final Fantasy: Advent Children. It covers and expands upon the two secret flashbacks within Final Fantasy VII where the identity of Zack is revealed.

I grew to truly enjoy Last Order thanks to the powerful story driven by the most charismatic character in the series, Zack. I knew his story had a tragic end thanks to the game, but I had no idea just what an incredible character Zack was until I watched the OAV. The glimpses into Sephiroth's descent into madness and vulnerablity within the Turks add more depth to Last Order and make it a delight to watch.

Yes, it does contradict some events in the game, but the insights it provides into the characters really makes it worth watching.
